Kniha žalmov obsahuje modlitby, ktorými sa po stáročia k Bohu obracajú židovskí aj kresťanskí veriaci a prepája ich duchovný svet. Konferencia organizovaná pri príležitosti začatia práce na komentári k žalmom chce priniesť pohľady vstupujúce do sveta ich autorov ako aj neskoršej recepcie žalmov v rôznych historických a kultúrnych kontextoch.Konferenciu s medzinárodnou účasťou na tému ŽALMY – z pohľadu ich autorov a neskoršej recepcie (plagát) organizuje RKCMBF UK v spolupráci s TF TU, TF KU a GTF PU a bude sa konať v Badíne (SK) pri Banskej Bystrice v dňoch 13.-14. septembra 2012 (viac tu).

The Book of Psalms contains prayers, by means of which many Jewish and Christian believers turn to God and which links their spiritual lives. International conference on the occasion of the beginning of the work on the commentary on the Book of Psalms aims at bringing new views into both the world of the authors of the Psalms and the latter reception of Psalms in their different historical and cultural contexts.

The international biblical meeting focussed on Psalms through the eyes of their authors and later reception is organized by the theological faculties of four Slovak Universities – Commenius University in Bratislava, Trnava University, The Catholic University in Ružomberok and University of Prešov – in Badín, September 13th – 14th, 2012.
