Na konci 18. kap. sa kr\u00e1\u013e <span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"sk\"><span title=\"As the preceding chapter ended, Ahab was rushing off to Jezreel (18:45), presumably to the winter palace that he and his queen have there (see 21:1).\">Achab pon\u00e1h\u013eal do Jezreelu (18,45), pravdepodobne do zimn\u00e9ho pal\u00e1ca, ktor\u00fd bol pre neho a jeho kr\u00e1\u013eovn\u00fa\u00a0 (porov. 21,1). V<\/span><span title=\"Duly warned, he is frightened and flees for his life (v. 3a).\">arovan\u00fd hrozbou, prestra\u0161en\u00fd utek\u00e1, aby si zachr\u00e1nil \u017eivot (ver\u0161 3a).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"sk\" tabindex=\"-1\"><span title=\"Elijah goes to Beersheba, the southernmost town in the land of the Lord's people, as we know from the clich\u00e9 \u201cfrom Dan to Beersheba\u201d (Judg 20:1; 1 Sam 3:20; 2 Sam 17:11; 24:2,\">Text (<a href=\"https:\/\/dkc.kbs.sk\/?in=1Kr19,3-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">19,3a-9<\/a>) opisuje Eli\u00e1\u0161ov \u00fatek do Be\u00e9r-\u0160eby, najju\u017enej\u0161ieho mesta v krajine (porov. Sdc 20,1; 1 Sam 3,20; 2 Sam 17,11; 24,2.<\/span><span title=\"15).\">15). Eli\u00e1\u0161 je teda mimo terit\u00f3ria Severn\u00e9ho kr\u00e1\u013eovstva a z dosahu Jezabely<\/span><span title=\"So Elijah is legally well beyond the reach of Jezebel.\">. <\/span><span title=\"Still, he does not remain there.\">Napriek tomu tam nezost\u00e1va a <\/span><span title=\"Carmel he had counted on his servant to help him look out for sign of impending rain (18:43\u201344), now he leaves the lad in Beersheba, while he himself ventures into the wilderness beyond Judah.\">vyd\u00e1va sa do p\u00fa\u0161te mimo terit\u00f3ria Judska. Ex 3,1). <\/span><span title=\"The period of forty days and forty nights, significantly, also echoes the time Moses spent on the same mountain, where he encountered God (see Exod 24:18; 34:28; Deut 9:9, 11, 18, 25; 10:\">Obdobie \u0161tyridsa\u0165 dn\u00ed a \u0161tyridsa\u0165 noc\u00ed v\u00fdrazne odr\u00e1\u017ea aj \u010das, ktor\u00fd Moj\u017ei\u0161 str\u00e1vil na tej istej hore, kde sa stretol s Bohom (porov. Ex 24,18; 34,28; Dt 9,9.11.18.25; 10,<\/span><span title=\"10).\">10). <\/span><span title=\"On that mountain, Elijah comes to a cave (so NIV, NRSV);\">Na tejto hore pri\u0161iel Eli\u00e1\u0161 do jaskyne (v h<\/span><span title=\"the Hebrew has the definite article, \u201cthe cave\u201d (\u05d4\u05de\u05e2\u05e8\u05d4 hamme\u0306\u02bfa\u0304ra\u0302, v. 9), which is perhaps a reference to the \u201ccleft of the rock\u201d where Moses stood as the Lord \u201cpassed by\u201d (Exod 33:22). \">ebrej\u010dine s ur\u010dit\u00fdm \u010dlenom, v. 9), ktor\u00e1 mo\u017eno odkazuje na &#8220;puklinu skaly&#8221;, kde st\u00e1l Moj\u017ei\u0161, ke\u010f P\u00e1n &#8220;prech\u00e1dzal&#8221; (Ex 33,22).<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"In response to the Lord\u2019s question as to his purpose on Horeb, Elijah replies that he has been \u201cvery zealous for the LORD\u201d because the people of Israel have forsaken the covenant, torn down the altars of the Lord, and killed the Lord\u2019s prophets.\">Ako odpove\u010f na P\u00e1novu ot\u00e1zku t\u00fdkaj\u00facu sa svojho z\u00e1meru na Horebe, Eli\u00e1\u0161 odpoved\u00e1: \u201ePln\u00fd som horlivosti za P\u00e1na\u201c, preto\u017ee Izraeliti poru\u0161ili zmluvu, zborili P\u00e1nov olt\u00e1r a zabili P\u00e1nov\u00fdch prorokov. <\/span><span title=\"The term used for Elijah's zeal here (\u05e7\u05e0\u05d0 \u05e7\u05e0\u05d0\u05ea\u05d9 qanno\u0304\u02be qinne\u0304\u02bet\u0131\u0302), however, is used most frequently for God's \u201cjealousy\u201d as regards Israel's loyalty (Exod 20:5; 34:14; Deut 4:24; 5:9; 6:\">Slovo, ktor\u00fdm Eli\u00e1\u0161 opisuje svoju horlivos\u0165 (<em>ken\u00f3 kinn\u00e9ti<\/em>), sa v\u0161ak naj\u010dastej\u0161ie pou\u017e\u00edva na &#8220;\u017eiarlivos\u0165\/horlivos\u0165&#8221; Boha, pokia\u013e ide o vernos\u0165 Izraela (Ex 20,5; 34,14; Dt 4,24; 5,9.<\/span><span title=\"15; 32:16, 19, 21; Josh 24:19).\">15; 32,16.19.21; Joz 24,19). <\/span><span title=\"Elijah, in other words, is jealous on behalf of the Lord, and he is angry because he has been left by himself to do God\u2019s work and because he is persecuted for it.\">Eli\u00e1\u0161, in\u00fdmi slovami, horl\u00ed v mene P\u00e1na a je rozhnevan\u00fd iba preto, \u017ee bol ponechan\u00fd s\u00e1m kona\u0165 Bo\u017eie skutky, a tie\u017e preto, \u017ee je e\u0161te aj prenasledovan\u00fd. <\/span><span title=\"So he has come to this mountain where Moses long ago had encountered God, indeed, spoken to God \u201cface to face\u201d (Deut 5:4). \">Tak sa Eli\u00e1\u0161 dostal na t\u00fa ist\u00fa horu, kde d\u00e1vne pred n\u00edm Moj\u017ei\u0161 tie\u017e spoznal Boha a kde Boh hovoril s n\u00edm akoby &#8220;tv\u00e1rou v tv\u00e1r&#8221; (Dt 5,4).<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Elijah appears to be overly zealous, however.\">N\u00e1\u0161 text v\u0161ak nazna\u010duje, \u017ee Eli\u00e1\u0161 je a\u017e pr\u00edli\u0161 horliv\u00fd. <\/span><span title=\"He does not seem to recall the affirmative response of the people of Israel on Mt.\">Nezd\u00e1 sa, \u017ee pripom\u00edna kladn\u00fa reakciu izraelsk\u00e9ho \u013eudu na vrchu K<\/span><span title=\"Carmel (18:39).\">armel (18,39). <\/span><span title=\"He charges them with having torn down the altars of the Lord, perhaps thinking of the altar that he had to repair to offer the sacrificial bull in the contest with Baal\u2019s prophets (18:30).\">Obvinil ich, \u017ee zborili P\u00e1nove olt\u00e1re, \u010do mo\u017eno znamen\u00e1 pr\u00e1ve olt\u00e1r, ktor\u00fd musel on opravi\u0165, aby mohol obetova\u0165 v spore s B\u00e1lov\u00fdmi prorokmi (18,30). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"sk\" tabindex=\"-1\"><span title=\"He charges them with having torn down the altars of the Lord, perhaps thinking of the altar that he had to repair to offer the sacrificial bull in the contest with Baal\u2019s prophets (18:30).\">Liturgick\u00e1 sta\u0165 pokra\u010duje dobre zn\u00e1mym opisom toho v \u010dom v\u0161etkom Boh nie je, aby zv\u00fdraznila neust\u00e1lu novos\u0165 Bo\u017eej tv\u00e1re, ktor\u00e1 ost\u00e1va najd\u00f4le\u017eitej\u0161ou in\u0161pir\u00e1ciou a cie\u013eom \u013eudskej \u017eivotnej cesty.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Eli\u00e1\u0161ov pr\u00edbeh je pr\u00edbeh, a tieto udalosti s\u00fa ohnivkami, ktor\u00e9 spolu tvoria re\u0165az.
